Step 1
Add 1 litre of bokashi to every 45-litre bag of Dr Organics Living Soil. Mix well, then decant into the desired pot size of your choice.
Step 2
Seeds can be germinated directly into organic living soil UK from Dr Organics Living Soil. Some growers prefer to sow seeds directly into the final pot, while others choose to start seedlings in a solo cup first to establish a strong root mass and support better soil health and early plant growth. This choice depends on the individual grower’s organic gardening style and setup.
However, autoflower seeds should always be planted directly into the final pot size to avoid stress and support optimal development in a living soil grow system, ensuring healthy root establishment and consistent plant performance.
Step 3
Allow your plant to establish itself and develop a strong root mass. Vegetate for at least 2 to 3 weeks to support healthy organic living soil UK development and improved soil health. After this stage, use Dr Organics Microben Terra Actus at 5 ml per litre of water once per week, as directed. This product helps replenish the soil with millions of beneficial microbes, supporting a balanced living soil system, stronger plant growth, and improved nutrient cycling. It also encourages a proper wet dry cycle, promoting maximum root expansion, oxygenation of the root zone, and better overall organic gardening performance.
Compared to constantly keeping the soil moist, this method is more effective as overwatering can lead to root rot, reduced oxygen levels, poor nutrient uptake, and limited root development. A healthy cycle allows roots to actively search for water and expand throughout the growing medium for stronger, more resilient plants.
Step 4
Once your plants are ready to switch to the flowering stage, continue following an organic living soil UK approach to support strong plant growth and improved soil health. At this stage, combine 5 ml of Microben Terra Actus and 25 ml of banana ferment per 1 litre of water. Use this solution with every other watering throughout the flowering cycle to maintain a balanced living soil system.
Dr Organics 2-8-10 Bloom is also required at the start of weeks 3 and 5 of flower to support healthy organic gardening results and improve nutrient availability during peak development stages. This can be applied as a top dress or dissolved in water, left for a few hours, and then watered directly into the soil to enhance nutrient uptake and overall flowering performance.
Step 5
Discontinue the use of Microben Terra Actus and banana ferment 2 to 3 weeks prior to harvest, and allow your plants to naturally fade into beautiful autumnal colours.
When reusing Dr Organics Living Soil, re-amend with the 4-3-4 at the recommended dosage. Add bokashi once again, along with Dr Organics hemp seed meal and mineral mix. Hemp seed increases biomass, and the eggshell mineral mix helps remineralize the soil. The eggshell mineral mix contains a citric compound to make calcium and magnesium available to the plants, but it is advisable to add fresh lemon juice with a small amount of water, allow it to fully activate, then further dilute before watering into the soil.
You can simply use the 4-3-4 without the other products when re-amending and still achieve excellent results. However, for the absolute best outcome, it is recommended to use bokashi, hemp seed meal, and mineral mix to replenish all essential micro- and macronutrients. Once this is done, decant back into your pots, water at around 10% volume using Microben Terra Actus at the stated dosage, and cover with a plastic bag or cling film across the pot. Keep in a warm tent (ideally with the light on, at 28°C, for at least 8 hours per day) and allow the thermogenic action to take place for 7 days so the ingredients can break down and bring your soil back to life.
Step 6
Plant your new seeds or clones and repeat the feeding process to maintain a consistent organic living soil UK system that supports ongoing soil health and strong plant growth throughout the full cycle.
