How to Use & Recommended Pot Sizes
Our living soil comes pre-charged with a complete blend of nutrients and microbial life. No additional products are required—it’s ready to use straight away.
Suitable for rooted cuttings, germinated seedlings, or established plants.
Contains mycorrhizal fungi and mycelium networks to boost root growth and nutrient uptake.
Recommended Quantities
Minimum: 162 litres per 1.2m² grow space for full nutrition.
18L pots: Provide 4–5 weeks of veg from seed, or 2–3 weeks from rooted clones, plus 8–10 weeks of flower (when supplemented with our 2-8-10 Bloom in week 3 and week 5 of flower).
Examples:
9 × 18L square pots per 1.2m²
9 × 30L round pots per 1.5m²
For growers preferring fewer, larger plants (e.g., under a SCROG net):
4 × 50L pots per 1.2m²

Growing Autoflowers
Germinate seeds and plant directly into their final pot (no transplanting).
Recommended pot size: 25–30L for maximum productivity.
Autos and photoperiod plants both require the same nutrients.
Bloom feeding schedule:
Add 2g of 2-8-10 Bloom per litre of soil two weeks after first white hairs appear.
Repeat after two more weeks to ensure balanced nutrition until harvest.

Common Myths
❌ Myth: You must dechlorinate tap water
False. Chlorine levels in tap water are too low to harm microbial life.
In fact, chlorine benefits photosynthesis by helping regulate stomata function.
❌ Myth: You must pH your water
False. Our soil naturally buffers pH to between 6.0–7.0, regardless of water source.

Reusing Dr Organics Living Soil
1. After harvest, remove the main root ball but leave smaller roots—they feed microbes as they decay.
2. Re-amend soil with our 4-3-4 Dry Amendment (12g per litre).
600g will re-amend 50L of soil.
3. Mix well, return soil to pots, and it’s ready to use again.
⚠️ When re-amending more than 50L at once, allow soil to rest for ~7 days (turn occasionally) to disperse heat.
This process can be repeated indefinitely, making our soil one of the most sustainable choices available.

I decided to give this a try on my first ever grow,So any problems are more down to me bumbling my way through the process than anything else.Firstly i found this very easy to use it was pretty much a hands off experience, i have just harvested a couple of JH autos that won’t win any awards for growth but have very dense large buds and are covered in trichs.They took 73 days and in this time i think i watered them 5 times which apart from adding the dry bloom amendment once was all i had to do soilwise infact i think i probably over watered them early on.Also i tried some of the soil with a dragon plant cutting and it’s absolutely thriving.

This soil and amendments are without doubt the best and cleanest on the market.im about to re-order after 2 runs with this, wasnt perfect but that was my doing, we live and learn. the only thing you need is your enviroment kept right and boom! he is also a genuine, helpful fella!

First time using an organic soil system and I’ve been blown away by the quality of the substrate, the customer service and the results of the soil. Super vigorous and strong growth from start to finish using nothing but tap water and the Terra Actus during veg and top dressed with bloom three weeks into flower. Couldn’t be more impressed with a premixed super soil that takes all of the guess work out at a very reasonable price. The Dr goes a long way out of his way to give solid advice.

What can I say the very best results I have ever had and all I used was water from my tap. I am growing autos again using the same soil just remanded with your 4 3 4 and used a bit more of your Dr Organics living soil to replace what I removed when taking out the main root. Billy&Bear Here…. Well i have been using this Soil since it was made and sold …i have never gone back to feeds nor have i had any issues with. Nuit problems since … not only does this product for fill every need the plant requires but has a lifespan that could last years not only making this highly cost-effective but also a great way to know exactly what you’re getting in your plant it is absolutely the best organic living matter Soil I have got my hands on in the time i have been making flowers…. Not only can you be assured of incredible range of dense thick flower but smells and flavours …. Got myself some Dr Organics living soil, it has not dissapointed, plants are only young but they looking very healthy and are growing well, nice green healthy leaves no deficiencies. Its great how easy it is to grow with this soil, no PHing no mixing nutes, no faffing about, just plant in it and water it and watch it grow.. all natural how it should be. Thanks Dr.
